The Cafe Racer

The Cafe Racer comes from motorcycle culture, where a jacket had to sit close to the body and stay out of the way at speed. There are no lapels and no belt: just a short snap-button collar, a straight front zip and clean panels of 100% full-grain cowhide, 1.0–1.2 mm thick.

Its slim fit and minimal lines make it the most versatile jacket in Vertex. Wear it with denim at the weekend or over a shirt in the evening.

Fit

Slim through the body and sleeves, finishing at the hip.

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms, with the tape level. Between two sizes? Take the larger one if you want room for a sweater.

Keep away from direct heat. Wipe with a soft dry cloth and condition the leather twice a year. Store on a wide hanger.
